Welcome to the Institute of Degrowth Studie´s of film screening of documentary The Cost of Growth!

This is a public event and for everyone who is interested - and not just for members of the institute.

We will start with a short introduction of the Institute of Degrowth Studies and then see the film together. After the film there will be a moderated conversation and Q&A with the film team!

LOCATION: HYPNOS - independent cinema venue, Norra Grängesbergsgatan 15, Malmö (Malmö´s Kulturljudszon).

About the movie: The Cost of Growth challenges Europe’s growth story by exposing the extractive systems it relies on and the communities that pay the price.

With an international cast, the film connects struggles in Serbia, Italy, and Sápmi to wider fights for justice — showing how communities resist extraction, build solidarities, and expose the violence behind Europe’s economy.

After this - everyone who is interested will head to Royal Biljard/Royal Pool Hall for those who are interested for a social drink/eat and hang out. MOST WELCOME!
